  19. US West has the highest profit margins of any utility I have ever dealt with 
  20. and I guess they intend to keep it that way. They are in a constant battle 
  21. with the Utah rate control authorities for having excessive profits. At the 
  22. same time some people are waiting over 6 months to have telephone service 
  23. installed. From a stock holders point of view US West is probably one of the 
  24. best utilities around. For the consumer it is probably one of the worst.
  25. BTW, ISDN rates, as proposed by US West, will start at someithing like $70 a
  26. month for the most basic service in Utah.
